From Ashes to Embers
From Ashes To Embers (F.A.T.E) is a 6 piece alt-metal band from Chicago, Il. FATE uses a mix of heavy, brutal riffs and soaring, melodic vocals to create a dynamic soundscape not often found in most modern, heavy music. Formed in early 2021 amidst the worldwide pandemic, FATE began as the secret passion project of frontman Rick Soeprasetyo and guitarist Mikey Hodge. After a full line up was recruited, including Chad Foster on Bass, Santiago Barrera on lead guitar, Steve Smith on drums, and most recently, front woman, Emily Marie, the band practiced/wrote and recorded in secret until unveiling themselves to the Chicagoland metal world in April of 2021. Their subsequent debut show sold out the Apollo Theater in Belvedere, IL as 500+ crammed the venue to hear a taste of what the newly formed group had to offer. Since then, it’s been off to the races as FATE has sold out multiple headlining shows in Illinois and Wisconsin, and has also supported an eclectic mix of national touring bands including Wage War, Powerman 5000, Drowning Pool, I’ll Nino, and HED PE just to name a few. FATE recently released their newest single “Clarity” on all streaming platforms on July 27th and now look forward to their next big career milestone, rocking the stage at Louder Than Life 2023.
