GETTING TO AFTERSHOCK
Discovery Park is located where the American River meets the Sacramento River. The beautiful 302-acre park is located adjacent to I-5 in downtown Sacramento. Fans will enter the festival on the north side of Discovery Park at the Garden Highway entrance or the Jibboom Street entrance from the south.
Festival parking is not available within Discovery Park during Aftershock. Camping is also not allowed. In an effort to limit the amount of vehicles around the festival, we ask you to consider the convenient transportation options outlined on this page.

SacRT light rail is a convenient way to travel to and from downtown Sacramento to catch buses that will take you to the Aftershock Festival! For your convenience, SacRT has 53 light rail stations and 22 park-and-ride lots in a 43-mile service area. SacRT recommends parking at one of our key light rail stations: Sunrise, Watt/Manlove, Franklin or Roseville Road. Light rail trains operate every 15 minutes during peak hours and every 30 minutes off peak hours. Service to Folsom stations operate every 30 minutes.
SacRT will provide supplemental bus service for Aftershock fans from downtown Sacramento to Discovery Park. Bus service departs from the 8th and K bus stop and drops off on Richards Blvd on the south side of the park. Fans will access the festival via the Jibboom Street bridge entrance. Return service is available at the end of the event at the same location as drop off.

Aftershock has again partnered Sacramento Area Bicycle Advocates to provide a complimentary bike valet located near the Jibboom Street entrance. The bike valet will accept all active transportation vehicles including bikes, skateboards and scooters. and will be watched throughout the entire event. If you choose to“self-park” your bike, it is at your own risk. The bike valet will open approx 90 minutes prior to gate opening time each day.

If you do drive, Aftershock greatly encourages carpooling as much as possible. There will be a limited amount of paid parking available for fans in designated areas surrounding the park.
NOTE: The festival does not manage any of these lots and parking fees are set by parking lot management. All parking is at your own risk.
